Korean Counters are words used to classify or count different types of nouns (objects, people, animals etc.) The structure is generally (Noun + Number + Counter).
Examples:
One pencil = 연필 한 자루 (yeonpil han jaru)
연필 (yeonpil) = pencil
한 (han) = one
자루 (jaru) = counter for pencils
Three students = 학생 세 명 (haksaeng se myeong)
학생 (haksaeng) = student
세 (se) = three
명 (myeong) = counter for people
