To count clothing items in Korean, you use the counter 벌 (beol). It’s specifically used for counting individual pieces or sets of clothing, like shirts, dresses, or suits.
How to use 벌:
- 한 벌 (han beol) = one clothing item
- 두 벌 (du beol) = two clothing items
- 세 벌 (se beol) = three clothing items
Example sentences:
Structure: noun + number + counter
- 옷 한 벌 샀어요. = I bought one piece of clothing.
- 저는 청바지가 네 벌 있어요. = I have four pairs of jeans.
You simply place the appropriate number before 벌 to count clothing items.
