저기요 (jeogiyo) is a polite way to get someone’s attention in Korean, kind of like saying “Excuse me” in English. You’d use it when you need to call over a waiter at a restaurant, get the attention of someone you don’t know, or politely interrupt someone. It’s a useful phrase for when you need to approach someone in a respectful yet casual way.
