안녕히 가세요 (Annyeonghi Gaseyo) is a polite way to say “Goodbye” in Korean, when the other person is leaving. It literally means “Go in peace,” and it’s what you’d say when someone is heading out, like when you’re parting ways after hanging out or when a guest is leaving your place.
If you’re the one leaving, you’d say 안녕히 계세요 (Annyeonghi Gyeseyo), which means “Stay in peace.”
